Life is all about change. For without change, we cannot grow. That applies to ForFleets as much as it does just about anything else. With that in mind, we’d like to tell you about a big change that’s coming for the comprehensive Fleet Maintenance system that is ForFleets—enter ForWare.
ForWare is the new name for Custom Automotive Software Solutions and the name behind Ireland’s leading Fleet Maintenance system, ForFleets. This rebrand shall bring with it a brand new company logo and rebranded website, which will continue to be a one-stop-shop full of helpful articles and insights to help Fleet Managers and Service Managers alike get the most out of our Fleet Maintenance software. And that’s not all; our rebrand to ForWare shall bring some exciting new product developments to make our already comprehensive Fleet Maintenance system bigger and better than ever.
ForWare has come a long way over the last 24 months— we’ve added three new platforms to our existing software portfolio. These are Events, Compliance, and Retail. ForWare Events and Compliance platforms are designed for use separately. However, these systems can also be combined with ForWare to give Fleet Managers complete control of compliance, service, and maintenance in one dashboard. This comprehensive package gives them access to the real-time authorisation of maintenance spending while also allowing them a complete overview of their fleet’s repair history.
ForWare Events
ForWare Events lets the Fleet Manager setup all service-related events based on date or live mileage. So, for instance, if you have a vehicle that is due a service after 25,000km or 2 years, whichever comes first, the system will trigger a notification for this event when one of these parameters is reached. This will not only help Fleet Managers to keep their vehicles adequately serviced but also within Warranty. You can also manage your vehicle tax, insurance, and driver documentation on one system, driving all this information onto one dashboard for easy vehicle and driver certification.
ForWare Compliance
ForWare Compliance allows Fleet Managers to track and book your NCT, MOT, and CVRT testing directly and track all related documentation and dates for upcoming and past events. It also allows for custom events such as tail lift inspection or Tachograph-related compliance. Features include a customer view login to keep track of all these requirements, allowing Fleet Managers to verify compliance procedures and documentation with Inspectors. Fleet Managers can book required testing /repairs directly from events /compliance systems to any of their workshops on the ForWare system. For example, when a vehicle is booked for a VHC, the Fleet Manager gets notifications and verifications of the repair status as the vehicle passes through the workshop from the initial booking through to the VHC completed stage. If repairs need to be authorised, a notification is sent, followed by a verification when they are carried out.
Our Fleet VHC system
It is a web-based system that allows for custom checks and OCR capability. Already established as the Fleet Maintenance System of choice for big-name fleets, we’ve already worked with a range of leading motoring brands and franchises. We wanted to bring that big brand experience to every garage, large and small. Highly complimented by fleet technicians, our VHC system has done away with the need for typing or long drawn-out videos. Put simply; it gets the information on the system for quick and easy authorisation allowing the technician to get on with the work the vehicle was booked in for. It’s perfectly usable with gloves too.
Our billing platform has had a makeover
When it comes to Fleet Management, it’s often the case that if you have an extensive nationwide fleet, you will need to have local repairers. For example, if you had an authorised workshop for each county in Ireland, you are still looking at 26 individual garages that will send in monthly invoices. If all these workshops did 5 repairs each in any given month, your staff would have to manage 130 invoices. Sounds a bit unwieldy, eh?
It doesn’t have to be. With ForWare billing, it consolidates all of these into one invoice per month. This means that you only get one request for payment, and the ForWare system pays the individual workshops in your network on your behalf—because all work has been authorised and pre-agreed, it saves your accounts staff a lot of time. They’ll thank you for it.
